This was a good May-Dec love story. Hero has relocated to a new precinct. He is ready to slow it down and maybe start a family. He goes to a bar and meets heroine for the first time. Things escalate quickly. This hero is not f* around. He sees and he conquers! Yup, caveman hero if I ever read one.However heroine is overwhelmed and runs for it. Fate plays a hand in getting these two back together. I liked that the relationship does not just jump to the bedroom. It builds to it and boy are those make out scenes hawt.
The climax scene and ending scene added excitement to the book. It also set up the next book, which I would read. Cause I want to know what heroine's bff was thinking. Romance standalone but part series. Nice epilogue. Hero is rough, protective, dominant and demanding so don't expect sweet here! Hero is heroine's one and only. Safe read.
He doesn't play around:
"There are two ways this can go, Kitten, and I promise you they will both have the same outcome." I tell her. "You can either stop fighting me and accept this connection between us or I can take you in the other room and go ahead and tell your father what happened between us. No matter which choice you make, in the end you are mine and nobody and nothing is going to change that."

He demands her to call him daddy but that's as far as the daddy kink goes. I loved every bit of this.
First. Commas. Please next time. Other that. Holy Crap! This was good. But to short; I wanted more. I want more. You have a great story line and wonderful character bulding.
Writer is new but has much potential. Excited to have another great author to add to my instalove alpha obsession.
Loved this book. So sweet. I loved the H and h. And her dad and best friend. I can't wait for that story. Sweet sexy and completely safe. Definitely a new author I'll be one clicking
I actually enjoyed this. It is a fun short read, and I liked the characters. I thought it wrapped up a little too quickly, even for a short, and I would have liked to see more between the couple. I do want to read the next story with the dad, though.
What's done in the dark corner of a club, sure comes into light in this one. Jess and Callum (her dad's best friend) meet in the club where Jess goes to celebrate her 19th birthday. The chemistry and connection between these two is immediate.
Now there is just the little matter of telling her father that his best friend is now dating his daughter. Although a quick read, I enjoyed the way their relationship developed and the care the two had for each other.
If you are looking for a quick lunchtime "older man/younger woman - daddy read", than this would be the one.
Wow! Cannot wait for Laura and Troys book. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down.
If you love hot alpha men who know what they want, and aren't afraid to go after it then I highly recommend this book. Be sure to have an extra pair of panties. This book is HOT! I'll just say that Callum can be my daddy any day!
A big 5 stars from me, and this baby is definitely going in my re-read pile.
Mine is a debut erotic romance novella. It's fast paced with an alpha cop, Callum, who's a friend of her dads, he's older, and it's lust at first sight for both of them. Jess may be young but she knows what she wants. Callum is H-O-T to the 5th degree and quite the dirty talker. This is a great and promising debut. I look forward to more from this author.
